FLAG-TV, is the 24/7 digital television channel of Nashville Women in Film & TV.  FLAG-TV was created to showcase content for, about, and by women. The acronym is short for Film Like A Girl, and this is the channel where female filmmakers and content creators can be seen and applauded. By partnering with Women in Film & TV chapters around the world, we have access to some of the most Nashville Women in Film and Televisioncompelling and inspiring stories, or most innovative programming, written, directed, and produced by some of the world’s most talented women!

Nashville Women in Film & Television is dedicated to advancing professional development and achievement for women working in all aspects of film, television, and all other screen-based interactive media. Founded in 1982 (and incorporated as a 501C3 in 2008) by a group of women committed to improving the position and representation of all women working in the film and television industries.

 WIFT continues to be committed to the improvement of the status of women, both in front and behind the camera, by supporting and advancing women working to achieve their highest potential within the global entertainment, communications, and media industries.  WIFT provides networking and mentoring opportunities to preserve the legacy of women within those industries thru workshops, mentoring, classes in colleges and high schools, as well as ongoing master series.
